Welcome to my shop of handmade jewellery, I have been making jewellery for over twenty years and the jewellery I make is very wearable and suitable for everyday wear or for more special ocassions too. I use quality glass beads along with semi-precious beads and freshwater pearls, often using traditional bead threading techniques to make beautiful items of jewellery, I will also knit and crochet items using wire and beads to create totally unique items. In this shop I have added jewellery to demonstrate the large range of items I currently make. I am happy to take on commissioned items too, please contact me if you would like to discuss any items of beaded jewellery you would be interested in me making.
To help you enjoy your jewellery there are a few things you should know about caring for your jewellery.
Store your necklaces and bracelets flat in the gift box it comes in or in a soft bag. Earrings can also be stored in soft bags or hung up, this will help prevent your pieces from becoming tangled with other pieces of jewellery, which could possibly cause damage to beads, necklace wires to kink and threads to weaken or break.
Avoid contact with water and chemicals - as with all jewellery never allow contact with chemicals such as cleaning products.
If you use perfume or make-up always apply before putting your jewellery on.
Do not wear your jewellery when swimming or in the shower.
Chemicals, perfume and water can weaken and/or damage the thread and even the beads and can occasionally cause colours to run from some threads, ribbons and/or beads that are coated or surface dyed.
Avoid the Extremes
Intense heat, moisture and sunlight can damage even the highest quality glass beads, so please do not display your jewellery in direct sunlight.
I have one dog who is not allowed in my workroom.
We are a smoke free household.
Please also consider that colours may vary slightly due to digital reproduction or monitor settings.
